March 1, 1969 – August 15, 1969. Operation Kentucky Jumper.


A five-phase, Division wide operation initiated at the end of Operation Nevada Eagle using the 101st Airborne Division, 9th Infantry Division and ARVN 3rd Regiment to seek out and destroy PAVN and VC units, interdict their base areas and infiltration routes and to support the Accelerated Pacification Program in Thừa Thiên Province. The operation consisted of five phases, including Operation Massachusetts Striker (1 March - 8 May 1969), Operation Bristol Boots (25 April - 15 May 1969), Operation Apache Snow (10 May - 7 June 1969), Operation Montgomery Rendezvous (8 June - 15 August 1969), and Operation Campbell Streamer (13 July - 15 August 1969).
