Demilitarized Zone, damaging enemy positions. On March 15, the destroyer USS Mullinnix shelled an enemy rocket
site in the southern portion of the DMZ. The site was silenced with one
secondary explosion. The USS Newport News
fired on enemy positions March 17, also in the southern DMZ, destroying 14
enemy bunkers and causing nine secondary explosions. [284] *
